Forest Park Families,

Last week, we held our monthly Forest Park Town Hall Assembly, an important part of our Positive Behavioral Supports Program (PBIS). PBIS is an evidence-based framework that helps schools create positive, safe learning environments while supporting strong student behavior and school culture.

During each assembly, we recognize students with EAGLE Awards for modeling our monthly behavior focus. Last month, we celebrated students who demonstrated model Attitudes. This month, we are focusing on Giving Respect. Please [click here] to view a poster we use in classrooms to guide discussions and help students understand what these behaviors look like across different areas of our school.

This week, our students in grades three through five had the opportunity to participate in Student Council elections. Fifth graders running for Executive Office positions presented their speeches to all third, fourth, and fifth graders. Winners will be announced next week. We are very proud of all students who chose to participate!

Our annual Calendar Raffle ticket sales are growing steadily. At the end of next week, the class with the highest total ticket sales will enjoy a pizza party! If you are able, now is a great time to purchase your tickets.

Finally, the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) has released the 2025 School Accountability Ratings. I am extremely proud to share that Forest Park has moved from a three-star to a four-star school! This achievement reflects our community’s commitment to working together and staying focused on continuous growth. For more detailed information about these results, please [click here] to view a letter from our Superintendent, Dr. Duva.

As always, thank you for your continued support and partnership.
