Forest Park Newsletter

Forest Park Community,

The first week of school is always a time of adjustment, and we know it can be challenging for students and families alike. Take time this weekend to talk with your children about how proud you are of their transition back into school routines. Despite the changes and new expectations, our students have had a very successful start to the school year!

As a reminder, our school opens at 9:10 AM. The first bell rings at 9:20 AM, and this is when we begin escorting students into the building. The school day officially begins at 9:25 AM.

Dismissal for all students is at 3:45 PM.

As we begin a new year at Forest Park, safety remains our number one priority. The district has implemented a new check-in/check-out system to help us ensure that our school community remains as safe as possible.

You will notice that the Chromebook is no longer in the foyer and has been replaced by a tablet and badge printer. This new system will be used for visitors, late arrivals, and early dismissals. It is a user-friendly system that will guide you through the process. Please note that you will need to have your ID with you when checking in or dismissing your child. We have linked a visual guide here to help you navigate the process.

Please take a moment to review the informational flyers included below. Most importantly, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns throughout the school year. We are here to support you and your children every step of the way.

In partnership,

Joseph S. Rotz, Principal
