Newsletter header for Forest Park Elementary School

Dear Forest Park Families,

I am proud to share that Forest Park Elementary School has earned a four-star rating on the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) School Accountability Report! (Click here to view our report.)

This achievement reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the continued partnership of our families. RIDE considers several factors in its ratings, including academic achievement, student growth, and chronic absenteeism.

On another note, we are excited for our upcoming Student Council election! Students in grades 3–5 will learn about democracy and participate in the election process, from voter registration to casting a ballot. Please take a few minutes to review the information provided carefully, and reach out if you have any questions.

Finally, next Friday, Forest Park is proud to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month! We invite our school community to wear pink to show support for those affected by breast cancer, honor survivors, and remember loved ones. Together, we can spread awareness and show our support!

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership as we continue to help every student learn, grow, and thrive. We are proud of our Forest Park community!

In partnership,

Joseph S. Rotz
Principal
