Our Mission is to educate our students to become intellectually active adults, to inspire them to reach individual excellence, and to challenge them to become responsible members of society. 

School History

Forest Park Elementary School was one of two schools that the town constructed in 1962.  Both Forest Park Elementary and Hamilton Elementary were sister schools with the same floor plan.

Dear Forest Park Families,

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to a new school year at Forest Park Elementary. I hope this message finds you well and enjoying a restful summer.

The start of a new academic year brings with it a sense of anticipation and opportunity. As we reflect on the growth and accomplishments of the past year, we also look forward to fresh beginnings, new goals, and meaningful experiences for every student.

Our first day of school for students in grades 1–5 is Tuesday, September 2nd.

Kindergarten orientation will also take place on September 2nd, with the first full day for kindergarten students on Wednesday, September 3rd. More detailed information about orientation will be sent to kindergarten families next week.

Our school day begins promptly at 9:25 AM and ends at 3:40 PM. Updated bus routes will be available on the North Kingstown School Department website later in August, and we’ll also post updates on the Forest Park Elementary website.
